OVER THE HOLIDAYS I FINISHED WATCHING SEASON 2 OF THE CROWN ON NETFLIX AND,
like everyone else, I was transfixed not only by the story, but by the gorgeous set design. So when we brought on a few new vendors from across the pond (namely Lewis and Wood, Farrow & Ball and Imogen Heath) we decided it was a perfect opportunity to create and Atelier inspired by the wonderfully collected feel of the British home.
Scroll down to see some of what us inspired and how the whole thing beautifully came together...

PROPER PIMM'S CUP FOR A PARTY
I love a tidy, easy recipe and this one is just that if you don't overthink it!
All you need is a serving vessel big enough to hold a bottle of Pimm's + the sliced fruit & cucumber.
Serve over ice in a 3:1 ratio of ginger beer to Pimm's Base.
Makes 12-15 servings.

Ingredients
1- Bottle of Pimm's No. 1 (750 ml)
1- English (of course!) Cucumber
4- Large Lemons
1- 16 oz Container of Fresh Strawberries
6-10 Fresh Rosemary Sprigs
6 pack of Ginger Beer (We like it extra spicy!)
Lots of crushed ice
... I also consider a quality highball glass a key ingredients to the success of this recipe!
- Thinly slice the cucumber & lemons (I use the slicing blade on my Cusinart- quick & easy!)
- Quarter strawberries with the tops removed.
- Toss the cucumber & lemon slices, strawberries & rosemary sprigs into your serving vessel.
- Pour a hole bottle of Pimm's over the slices.
- Stir- yum!
The rest is this simple: fill your highball about 1/3 of the way with the Pimm's mix, fill the rest of the glass with ice, top with ginger beer- enjoy!
That's all.
