Sunflowers radiate life's force- this design radiates with dotted sun rays, flowers within flowers, petals, leaves, and stamens fanning out in nature's symmetry. Originally created on clay the motifs were pressed and cut into soft speckled clay and tinted with underglaze. Skillfully developed into a textile keeping the tonality, texture, and line quality of the original clay manuscript.
