A Celebration of Natural Linen with Volga Linen

At Volga Linen, they are embracing the gentle shift in season with a mood-capturing collection of raw neutrals – an evolution of their classic plain weave linens and two new fabrics that celebrate the remarkable characteristics of linen in its purest form.

Two New Colorways
of Their Classic Linen

Introducing two new colors in their light weight plain weave collection: Oatmeal and Pale Gold. Already available in their mid weight range, Oatmeal is their palest, rawest neutral. As such, the subtle irregularities of the fibre are evident. Pale Gold, as the name suggests, has a subtle, sophisticated iridescence redolent of the fabrics’ fabled past. With these latest additions, Volga Linen's collection of light weight plain weaves now extends to 30 colourways.

For the Love of Stripes

Alongside their latest plain weave fabrics, they are launching two new striped linens: a narrow and a bold stripe in Natural/White. Also suitable for curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, decorative upholstery and fabric walling, the inevitable crumple of the fabric brings a looseness and tactility to the uniformity of the stripes.

What's Still to Come…

Spring also sees the launch of their first light weight plain weave chambray – a textural, supple linen that is expertly woven with Natural yarn in the warp and White yarn in the weft. The effect is lived-in and laid-back for undone or earthy interiors.

As they edge towards summer, they are also launching their sheerest fabric to date by early July: a double width textured stripe sheer linen woven by artisans in Belgium. This diaphanous fabric is suitable for curtains, blinds, bed hangings and lampshades. Stay Tuned!
